We at Just Equity for Health respect your privacy and endeavor to protect information you provide us on our Platform and through our communications with You at all times. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle all information you provide and what we learn about you through your use of our Platform. All definitions set forth in our Terms of Use apply to this Privacy Policy. Please take some time to read this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any current or past providers appearing on our Platform, nor does it apply to any third party websites or mobile applications whose links might appear on our Platform.
By using our Platform you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
What types of Personal Information do we collect?
JEH collects names, email addresses, and location information ("Personal Information") directly from you or automatically from your devices when you interact directly with our Platform. We may collect Personal Information about you, including name and location data, and information relating to your internet and network activity.
How do we use your Personal Information?
We may use the information provided for the following purposes:
To operate, maintain, administer, and improve our Platform or the Services. This includes usage data to identify trends;
To update you about improvements, news, events, or new releases of the Platform that may be of interest to you;
To improve the user experience of the Platform through testing, research, data analysis, and product development, and to develop, improve, or demonstrate our Platform and Services;
To promote and market our Platform to you. You can opt out of these services by opting out of cookies at any time;
To respond to a request you make to us;
To respond to law enforcement requests, court orders, and subpoenas and to carry out any of our legal obligations;
To endeavor to protect against fraudulent use of the Platform, and otherwise maintain the security of our Platform;
To fulfill any other purpose that you consented to in the Terms of Use.
How do we collect your Personal Information?
We may collect Personal Information directly from you, as you navigate through the site, or from our third party partners. If we do the latter, we always collect that information with the limitation that JEH is only collecting the information to enhance the Platform.
Do we share your Personal Information?
We only share Users' Personal Information for the following limited purposes:
To provide the Services. We may share your Personal Information with our service providers, and business partners, including our app developers, data hosting and data storage partners, analytics and advertising providers, technology services and support, and data security advisors. We may also share your Personal Information with professional advisors, such as auditors, law firms, and accounting firms. In all of the situations where we are sharing data with third parties, measures will be in place so that only data that is needed to perform the services will be shared, and the vendors will be limited to using the Personal Information only for providing the Services.
To comply with the law. We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable law or any obligations thereunder, including cooperation with law enforcement, judicial orders, and regulatory inquiries. In such cases we will provide the minimum necessary information that is as anonymized as possible.
For third party analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand and evaluate how visitors interact with our Platform. These tools help us improve our Platform, performance, and your experience.
To enforce our rights. We may share your Personal Information to enforce the Terms of Use, and to ensure the safety and security of our Services and our users.
Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Account data (name, email): retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your Personal Information within 30 days.
Usage data and cookies: retained for up to 12 months from the date of collection.
Communications (support emails, feedback): retained for up to 2 years.
You may request deletion of your Personal Information at any time by contacting us at GBHealth@justequityforhealth.com. Upon verified request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
When does our Privacy Policy NOT apply?
JEH acts as a business associate to medical, health care, and/or wellness providers who you find through our Platform ("Providers" or "Provider"). However, we do not collect or use any of our users' protected health information. As such, data we collect from users is strictly limited to email addresses and usage data provided through cookies, rather than data that is governed by HIPAA.
How You Can Opt Out of Certain Disclosures of Personal Information
You have the right to opt out of certain disclosures of your Personal Information including certain uses of tracking technology, including the disclosure of your Personal Information for our advertising to you, and other targeted advertising.
You can opt out of third parties collecting your Personal Information for targeted advertising purposes in the United States by visiting the National Advertising Initiative's (NAI) opt-out page.
You can also restrict certain tracking directly through your browser. Each type of web browser provides ways to restrict and delete cookies. Browser manufacturers provide resources to help you with managing cookies:

If you do not wish to have your email address used by Us to promote our Platform or the Services, you can opt-out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any e-mail or other marketing emails you receive from Us. This opt out does not apply to information we need to send you related to your use of the Platform such as confirmation emails.

How do I correct my Personal Information?
You may email GBHealth@justequityforhealth.com to inform us of any changes or errors in your contact information to ensure that it is accurate and current.
Children's Privacy
JEH understands the importance of protecting children's privacy online. Our Platform is not designed for or intentionally targeted at children 17 years of age or younger. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from anyone under the age of 17. Children under the age of 17 are prohibited from using our Platform and the Services, and from submitting any Personal Information to the Platform. If we learn that we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 17, we will delete that information. If you believe a child under the age of 17 might have provided us with their Personal Information, please contact us at GBHealth@justequityforhealth.com immediately.
Does JEH respond to Do Not Track signals?
Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features, however, are not yet uniform across browsers. Our Platform is not currently set up to respond to those signals.
Data Security
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, destruction, disclosure, or use of your Personal Information. The Internet is not 100% secure and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted online. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We need your help to keep your Personal Information secure. We are not responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our Platform, in your operating system, or mobile device.
California Privacy Rights
California's Shine the Light Law
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (California's "Shine the Light" law) permits users of our Platform and/or the Services who are California residents and who provide Personal Information in obtaining products and services for personal, family, or household use to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. If applicable, this information would include the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared your Personal Information with for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2025 will receive information regarding such activities in 2026). Your rights under the CCPA
Right to Access Information. You have the right to request access to personal information collected about you, information regarding the source of that personal information, the purposes for which we collect it, and the third parties and service providers with whom we share it.
Right to Request Deletion of Information. You have the right to request, in certain circumstances, that we delete any personal information that we collected directly from you. To protect your personal information, we will verify your identity before we act on your request. We may have a reason under the law why we do not have to comply with your request or why we may comply with it in a more limited way than you anticipated. If we do, we will explain that to you in our response.
Right to Opt-Out of the Sale/Share of Personal Information to Third Parties. You have the right to opt out of any sale or share of your Personal Information to third parties.
Right of Non-Discrimination. You have the right not to be discriminated against – such as being denied a good or service, being provided a different level or quality of service, or being charged different prices – for exercising any of your rights under the law.

Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy at any time and at our sole discretion to reflect changes in privacy laws, our practices or procedures, and/or best practices. We will post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If we make material changes to our practices with regards to any Personal Information we collect from you, we will notify you by email to the email address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, active, and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically accessing the Platform and reviewing this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
